About this file
This document contains Questions and Answers for SFQ #24WS0034, issued by the Veterans Home of West Los Angeles for Temporary/Relief Pharmacist Registry Services. The solicitation seeks to establish a contract for pharmacist services with shifts running Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5pm. While multiple pharmacists may be utilized over the contract period, only one pharmacist will be needed per shift. The contract will be awarded to a single vendor.
This solicitation is exclusively restricted to certified Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE) vendors, and non-DVBE vendors cannot submit bids. The contract does not allow for overtime pay, will not follow the California Industrial Welfare Commission's Wage Order No. 4-2001, and does not offer incentives for small business subcontractors. There are currently no incumbent vendors providing these services, so no historical pricing is available. The solicitation specifically prohibits the use of small business subcontractors as it must be fulfilled by a certified DVBE contractor.
