About this file

This document is an attachment to a solicitation for a Conex box storage/office unit to be provided to the Department of the Navy Naval Sea Systems Command. The solicitation seeks one insulated and temperature controlled Conex box shelter that can be relocated for temporary shipboard work. The box must have HVAC that includes both heating and cooling compliant with California standards, and it must be capable of being lifted by forklift. The contractor must provide calculations stamped by a professional engineer verifying the lifting pads can support 100% of the load. Acceptance testing will take place at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard upon delivery, and the unit must pass inspection for shipping damage, quantities, and mechanical and electrical integrity. The contractor will also provide an approved lifting plan with diagram. Satisfactory completion of inspection and testing will result in final acceptance and authorization for payment.
