About this file

This is a Darfur Contracting Act Certification form from the California Department of General Services Procurement Division for Solicitation 24BS0037. The document outlines certification requirements for companies that have had business activities or operations outside of the United States within the previous three years who wish to bid on or submit proposals for State of California contracts.

The form provides two options for compliance: Option #1 allows companies to certify under penalty of perjury that they are not a scrutinized company as defined in Public Contract Code 10476, while Option #2 provides a path for scrutinized companies that have obtained written permission from the Department of General Services (DGS) to bid or submit proposals if deemed in the state's best interest. Companies that have not conducted business outside the U.S. within the previous three years are exempt from completing this form. Both options require the company to provide their name, Federal ID Number, authorized signature, and other identifying information as part of the certification process.
