About this file
This Statement of Work details requirements for furnishing and installing a water service line at 8902 W 166th St S in Sapulpa, OK. The work involves installing PE 4710 IPS DR 9 polyethylene pipe (2-inch diameter, 500-foot coil) with non-flare compression fittings, a brass ball valve for isolation, and a polyethylene valve box. Specific manufacturer recommendations include Silver-Line Plastics Sil-O-Flex OD DR 9 or approved equal for piping and NDS for valve boxes.
The installation requirements specify minimum depths (30 inches to pipe top), separation distances from sewer lines (30-inch horizontal, 12-inch vertical), and detailed trenching/backfill procedures. Key technical requirements include directional drilling for creek crossings with 36-inch depth below creek bottom, no casing piping, and no joints within 100 feet of the channel. The contractor must provide a one-year warranty on materials and labor, coordinate with Project Oversight (Dalton Barnes) three days before starting work, perform work only Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, and restore the site to original condition upon completion. The work must comply with various ASTM, AWWA, and NSF standards for plastic piping systems and drinking water components.
