About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for installing a water service line at 1475 Red Eagle Rd., Hominy, OK 74035. The contractor must furnish and install PVC water service lines (4-inch diameter and smaller) according to specified material requirements, including PVC 1120 pressure pipe made from class 12454 materials meeting ASTM D-1784 standards and NSF Standard No. 61 for potable water.
The SOW details technical requirements including minimum vertical separation of 24 inches between water and sewer lines, minimum 30-inch trench depth, bedding specifications, testing procedures, and disinfection requirements per AWWA C651. Key quality assurance measures include using state-licensed personnel, providing a one-year warranty on materials and labor, obtaining Construction Inspector approval before covering work, and conducting leak tests and consecutive negative Bac-T tests. The contractor must maintain specific pressure ratings for pipes (Class 160 SDR 26 or Class 200 SDR 21 for pressures ≤125 psi), provide thrust blocking at direction changes, and restore the site to original condition upon completion.
