About this file

This document is an addendum issued by the Illinois Power Agency (IPA) in response to a question regarding the 24-RFQ-01 - Professional Services - Procurement Administration solicitation. The RFQ seeks qualified experts or expert firms to serve as a Procurement Administrator to support the IPA in meeting the power supply and Renewable Energy Credits procurement needs of Illinois utilities. The current year estimated budget for Procurement Administration is $3.85 million, which includes funds set aside for contingency events. The average annual budget over the last five years is $1.9 million, which is indicative of future anticipated spending levels. Future budget estimates will depend on factors such as the number of procurement events and changes to procurement rules, forms, and contracts.

The document indicates that evaluation of responses to this RFQ will form the basis for determining recipients of a subsequent RFP. No other details are provided regarding pricing terms, set asides, incumbents, funding requirements and sources, or the term of the contract.
