The solicitation is issued by the state government and will result in a state term contract that can be used by agencies and eligible users as defined in the Florida Administrative Code. The contract term will begin on the date set forth in the contract and may be renewed by written agreement between the state government and the contractor. Several sections of the standard terms and conditions, including transportation, packaging, installation, and cooperative purchasing, have been removed or modified for this insurance contract.
The revised definitions clarify that for this insurance contract, customers other than the state government may not amend or modify the contract or insurance policy terms. The contract term and renewal provisions are also specified, indicating the contract may be renewed in whole or in part in accordance with Florida statutes.
