About this file

This is a Cost Proposal Sheet for IFB No. 24-0152 issued by the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) for ground application of pesticides for eradication/control projects against plant pest disease in Alameda County. The contract covers pesticide application services including spray truck application, hand/backpack sprayer application for fruit fly bait stations, and pelletized/granular formulation application. The contract term is for one year with two one-year renewal options.

The pricing structure requires bidders to provide per-gallon costs for pesticide application including mixing, loading and application, plus equipment and fuel costs. Specific pesticides that may be used include GF-120 NF Naturalyte, STATIC Spinosad ME, Dipel Pro DF, Thuricide BT, and Acelepryn. The bid also requires pricing for PCA Lead Services to provide pesticide safety training, prepare reports, and ensure regulatory compliance. Selection will be determined by both competitive application rates and pesticide costs as applicable to CDFA usage. All costs must comply with California Department of Pesticide Regulation laws and application rates must follow product label instructions and special local need (SLN) requirements.
