About this file

This document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority (ISTHA) for the procurement of a Triumph Paper Cutter Model 4850 or equal. The RFQ specifies the required features and capabilities of the paper cutter, including being automatic/electric, having a cutting width up to 18 5/8 inches, and being able to cut 3-inch stacks at the same time. The RFQ indicates that the equipment must be in stock and ready to deliver once awarded, with delivery to be made during standard business hours to the ISTHA's Central Administration location in Downers Grove, Illinois. The contract term is a one-time purchase with an anticipated start date of April 1, 2024 through June 30, 2024.

The RFQ states that all quoted prices must be valid for 180 days from the date of submission, and no price increases will be accepted. The Tollway will award the contract to the responsive and responsible bidder who submits the lowest price. Vendors are required to attest to meeting the standards set forth in the contract and include a specific statement on their invoices as per Illinois statute 605 ILCS 10/16.1. The RFQ also outlines the Tollway's rights regarding termination for cause or convenience, as well as the contingency of the contract on the availability of funds.
