PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

This is a Design Bid Build Construction Contract to Dry Dock 4 Refueling Complex at Norfolk

4 Refueling Complex that will be comprised of a west end Railcar Enclosure Complex and an east end Clean Enclosure Complex. The Railcar Enclosure Complex will consist of Railcar

Additionally, the enclosures consist of storage areas, multiple high and low bay work areas, bridge cranes, movable roofs, access control and all associated HVAC, mechanical, electrical, alarm, controls and communication systems. The enclosures require clean room finishes and

The Railcar Enclosure and Clean Enclosure structural steel modules are to be constructed off-site and then delivered to the shipyard. All on-site work associated with this project will be executed within the shipyard Controlled Industrial Area (CIA) which requires unique access credentials and strict limitations on the nature of materials and equipment.
