About this file
This document is an Addendum to a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) State Facilities Administration Design and Construction Division for a project to replace the electrical system at Wilson State Park. The project involves providing opinions of probable cost to help set a budget for the construction, fully investigating the existing electrical system, and completing the replacement work. The RFP requires a two-part proposal, with the technical portion evaluated at 80% and the cost portion at 20%. Proposals are due on May 4, 2023, and the contract is expected to be awarded in May 2023, with design work completed in Summer 2023 and construction anticipated in Fall-Winter 2023-2024, though it could potentially be pushed out a year. The project is located in Clare County, Michigan.
The RFP includes an allowance of $2,500 for the LARA plan review fee under the reimbursable expenses. No other pricing details or set-asides are provided. The current electrical system is understood to have a single-phase service, with the sanitary lift station fed from the beach house, which is in turn fed from the south main distribution panel.
