About this file

This is Addendum 1 to RFP #2321 issued by Kenosha County, Wisconsin, for the Old Settlers Park Beer Garden Concessions Operation. The addendum provides clarifications and answers to vendor questions regarding the beer garden concessions operation at Old Settlers Park, located at 24100 75th Street, Salem, Wisconsin. Key clarifications address pavilion alterations, stage usage permits, parking arrangements, and utility responsibilities. Vendors proposing modifications to the main pavilion facade, including painting and structural changes, must obtain final approval from Kenosha County Parks. Vendors seeking to host musical events on the band shelter must obtain Special Event permits for each series of events, with applications available through Kenosha County. The general public retains equal rights to apply for Special Event permits, and Kenosha County Parks coordinates with business partners to prevent negative impacts to stakeholders.

The addendum addresses utility and operational logistics for the concession operator. Regarding electric service, since the facility has only one meter, Kenosha County will negotiate an electric credit based on historic usage that will be absorbed by the County and applied to the lease agreement, with the vendor responsible for any usage overage. Parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis within Old Settlers Park, with the public permitted to utilize both north and south parking lots. Additional parking requirements are specified in Section 1.3 of the Old Settlers DRAFT Beer Garden Contract, which vendors must reference for compliance with special parking provisions.
