QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

1. Forklift: Was it operational fully with no issues before the fire? Can it be cleaned off site at lift company?

a. It is our understanding the forklift has an internal vacuum leak. It was working after the fire. The repair is currently in progress, waiting for a part. The County would prefer it be cleaned on-site depending on how long that process would take. It is often used to organize the impound lot. All cleaning and coordination involved is to be reviewed with the County team.

2. Can we receive a link for the original building plans for review and pricing of insulation system?

a. Please see the link below for the existing metal building drawings. In addition, lee@kuenyarch.com can be emailed for access to the drawings. Also, refer to the specifications for the insulation and other metal building components.

3. Would there be an option for credit to county if full removal of ceiling insulation system is switched to remove ceiling insulation as needed.

a. The County would like the bid to remain as the full removal and replacement of all liner and insulation in the complete work area room as indicated on the plans.

4. Because it is a secure building, how would daily access be done/provided?

Key system to enter affected area only and County to secure (by lockset) interior doors to other areas.
