About this file

This document is a Price Page for mercury-containing waste recycling services for the City of Tucson. The pricing document provides a comprehensive list of unit prices for various types of mercury-containing items, including intact and broken lamps, mercury-contaminated debris, mercury glass and metal products, and elemental liquid mercury. The pricing structure allows for different container sizes such as buckets (5-gallon) and drums (20, 30, and 55-gallon), with pricing to be determined by the contractor for each category.

The pricing methodology requires that unit prices be inclusive of all costs, including direct and indirect expenses for labor, overhead, materials, transportation, profiling, lab analysis, bulking, staging, repacking, and disposal. The City of Tucson emphasizes electronic tracking and invoicing, prohibits additional fuel surcharges, and requires contractors to provide individual manifest numbers and packing materials for each city department. While the document presents a standard pricing template, the City is open to alternative pricing options that might be more advantageous and encourages offerors to submit alternative proposals.

PRICE PAGE

Unit Price must be inclusive of all costs, including but not limited to, direct and indirect costs for labor, overhead, materials, transportation, profiling, lab analysis, bulking, staging, repacking, and/or end disposal costs.

Electronic tracking and invoicing is desirable. Contractor may not apply additional fuel surcharges to invoices. Contractor shall provide each City department with all packing and shipping materials and their own individual manifest number. Each invoice shall reflect the true and exact cost of each manifest.

Below is a listing of the most prominent types of mercury containing waste generated by the City of Tucson. This listing is not intended to be all inclusive of the types of mercury containing waste. The Unit Pricing provided below is the City’s attempt to replicate what individual departments have encountered when recycling mercury containing waste in the past. However, the City is willing to consider other pricing options that may be more advantageous to the City and requests that offerors submit alternatives if so willing.
