About this file
This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) for an Electronic Gate Replacement project at Orlando Executive Airport. The RFQ seeks a vendor to remove two existing Hysecurity SlideDriver gate operators and two 7' x 14' chain link cantilever gates, and install two new Hysecurity Operators (model SlideDriver 15, part # HY-222 SS ST) with associated hardware and control devices to create a fully functioning system. The pre-bid meeting is scheduled for April 26, 2023, at 9:00 AM EST, with responses due by 2:00 PM EST on May 11, 2023. The aviation authority intends to issue a purchase order by August 30, 2023, with unit prices valid through that date.
The RFQ specifies that the awarded vendor must be a Manufacturer Authorized Installer and can salvage serviceable old parts. Pricing must be comprehensive, with no additional fees allowed beyond the submitted quote. The vendor will be required to provide a manufacturer's standard parts and labor warranty, plus a 12-month installation warranty. Insurance requirements include $1,000,000 in commercial general liability, $1,000,000 in automobile liability, workers' compensation coverage, and $1,000,000 in professional liability insurance. Payment terms are net 30, with invoices to be submitted within 10 business days of accepted delivery, and the authority reserves the right to award the contract based on the lowest overall quotation.
