About this file

This is Amendment #3 to a Request for Pre-Qualification (RPQ) issued by the Palm Beach County Purchasing Department for Furniture Installation Services on a lump sum, term contract basis. The amendment, dated July 2nd, 2025, modifies the General Conditions of RPQ #23-030/SS and provides clarification to pre-qualified vendors regarding non-discrimination and equal business opportunity requirements. The purchasing department contact has been updated to Jeromy Calderon at (561) 616-6815. The document does not specify quantities, response dates, due dates, site visits, bidder meetings, award dates, or contract term details, as these would be contained in the primary RPQ document.

The amendment replaces sections 2(b) and 2(c) with updated Commercial Non-Discrimination and Discrimination Prohibited clauses that require vendors to comply with Palm Beach County Resolution R2025-0748, prohibiting discrimination based on race, color, national origin, religion, ancestry, sex, age, marital status, familial status, sexual orientation, disability, or genetic information in hiring and commercial treatment. Material violations constitute grounds for contract termination, disqualification, or debarment. Section 3(c) is revised to emphasize Equal Business Opportunity (EBO) Program requirements under the Palm Beach County Code (Sections 2-80.20 through 2-80.40), mandating that vendors include non-discrimination clauses in all subcontractor agreements and apply EBO provisions throughout the solicitation process. The amendment establishes that all EBO forms and documentation are available through the Office of Equal Business Opportunity website.
