About this file
This is a Change Order Notice issued by the Chief Procurement Office for General Services on behalf of the Toll Highway Authority (THA) in Illinois for Contract 23-0037, Unisys Maintenance and Support. The change order authorizes modifications to the existing contract to include Unisys Datacenter Move Services and related project management activities. The scope of work encompasses deployment of software series on VMware infrastructure using a logical "lift and shift" approach, which includes standing up new virtual machines, installing Windows operating systems and new CSS software, performing system outages to swap virtual machine disk files, installing new CSS versions, and managing the cutover to reestablish iSCSI interface connectivity to the virtual tape library. Unisys personnel will collaborate with the client's internal staff to deliver these services, which were not reasonably foreseeable at the time of the initial contract execution. The current contract term remains unchanged with an expiration date of August 27, 2026.
The upper dollar limit of Contract 23-0037 will be increased by $49,734.00, bringing the total contract value from $455,067.17 to $504,801.17. This change order modification exceeds the $25,000 threshold requiring public posting on the Bulletin/BidBuy for a 14-day notice period. The change order qualifies for posting under Section 33E-9 of the Criminal Code, as the circumstances necessitating the change in performance were not reasonably foreseeable at the time of original contract execution and the change order remains germane to the original contract scope.
