About this file
This document is an Addendum to a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) for paving improvement projects at the Bellamy Creek and Handlon Correctional Facilities. The RFP provides clarifications and modifications to the original solicitation, including information about a pre-proposal walk-through meeting, requirements for topographic surveys and geotechnical investigations, availability of existing site drawings, and restrictions on the use of drones. The RFP also outlines specific requirements for the paving improvements at the Handlon Correctional Facility, including expanding existing parking lots and paving a gravel parking area. Additionally, the RFP indicates that the selected Professional Services Contractor (PSC) will be required to provide Phase 600 and 700 typical services, and coordinate with MDOC to attend both on-site and virtual meetings.
The RFP also provides details on the project's file numbers (472/22269.SMD and 472/22329.SMD), the jurisdictions involved (Ionia County), the proposal due date (September 29, 2022), and the project director (Scott DeKorte). The RFP does not appear to include any information about pricing terms, set-asides, incumbents, funding requirements or sources, or contract term and renewal options.
