NOTICE OF CONTRACT ACTION

The AFLCMC Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) and Special Operations Forces (SOF)

Directorate, SOF and Personnel Recovery Division, Special Warfare Contracting (SW) Branch

(AFLCMC/WISK) plans to procure swift water rescue (SWR) system that provides the users with the capability to use or deflect the water’s power to assist in the rescue of the endangered person(s), as in most situations there is no easy way to overcome the power of the water. This is a (6 items) brand name

(BN) and (26 items) brand name or equal (BNoE) requirement that will be procured through the Special

Warfare Multiple Agency Contract (SW-MAC). This procurement is within the SW-MAC scope and ceiling. This Swift Water Rescue system is the only system that meets the government requirements based on the salient characteristics listed below:

• Personal Flotation Device (PFD) (BNoE)- Overt red in color to provide visibility of rescuer. Quick-release rescue belt. USCG Type V. 22lbs of flotation; 4ea per subkit. NRS; Rapid Rescuer; P/N:

A determination by the Government whether to consider other alternatives based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. If an alternative is proposed please explain how this will meet the requirement. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining the suitability of alternatives for market research purposes. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement.

All information submitted should support the respondent's capability to provide the items required, and shall be furnished at no cost of obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation.

Interested sources must respond in writing with clear and convincing evidence to support their ability to provide the required supplies/services by 4:00 Noon Eastern Standard Time (EST) on 22 July 2022.
