PROJECT 220006_SOW REVISION: 0 1

STATEMENT OF WORK

for

UHHZ220006, UPGRADE/RPL AIRFIELD LIGHTING PLC CONTROL SYSTEM

VERSON_00

DATED

1 AUGUST 2024

PROJECT 220006_SOW REVISION: 0 2

1.0 Description of Services

1.1 Objective(s): This Statement of Work (SOW) describes the services required to upgrade the Airfield Lighting Controls System refresh update with new Allen-Bradley Rockwell components and programming located at Robins AFB Vault Bldg 36 and Tower Bldg 37.

1.2 Benefit to United States Air Force (USAF): This acquisition will benefit the United States Air Force (USAF) by The Airfield Lighting Control System (ALCS) include the navigation lighting, Tower Beacon, approach lighting, runway, taxiway lighting, and parking area lighting systems to ensure safe operations and to enable night-time/foul weather airfield operations. Under normal, non-emergent/non-combat, conditions, the loss of the Airfield Lighting Control System would prohibit periods of night-time/foul weather airfield operations. Inbound aircraft would have to be diverted to an alternate airfield and departing aircraft would discontinue operations until VFR or day-time operations could resume. Under emergent/combat conditions, period of night-time/foul weather operations is possible using field deployable lighting solutions. The ALCS is classified as a Mission Essential System.

2.0 Government Property: Government property will not be provided as part of this Project.
