About this file
This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Redding Board of Education (BOE) for Easton, Redding & Region 9 Schools, seeking qualified architectural firms to provide design and enhancement services for specific learning spaces at Redding Elementary School and John Read Middle School in Redding, Connecticut. The RFP, solicitation number 22-2, was released on November 4, 2022, with a submission deadline of December 6, 2022, at 5:00 PM EST. A mandatory pre-bid tour is scheduled for November 16, 2022, and interested vendors must notify Jason McKinnon to attend. The design services will focus on furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) for the Grade 2 Wing, Kindergarten Wing, and Library at Redding Elementary School, as well as the library and community room at John Read Middle School, with an emphasis on design rather than significant structural renovations.
The RFP is open to all vendors, with payment terms to be specified by the vendor. No estimated total value is provided, and there are no specific set-aside designations or disadvantaged enterprise requirements mentioned. The vendor Q&A period runs from November 4 to November 23, 2022, allowing potential respondents to seek clarification on project specifications. Two supporting documents are included: "Redding BoE RFP for Architectural and Design Services.pdf" and "Redding RFP v2 Addendum for Architectural and Design Services.pdf," which likely contain additional project details. The contact person for the RFP is Jason McKinnon, who can be reached at jmckinnon@er9.org or by phone at 203-261-2513.
