About this file
This document is an addendum to a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by the Eugene Water & Electric Board (EWEB) in Oregon for water meter boxes and covers. The addendum revises the proposal form with updates to specific stock numbers, product descriptions, and estimated annual quantities. It also refines the sample contract language, changes the standard terms and conditions, and extends the closing date. The contract is for a 3-year period with the possibility of renewal.
The addendum provides pricing details, including approved manufacturers and model numbers, as well as load ratings for the meter boxes and covers. It encourages contracting with minority-owned, woman-owned, and emerging small businesses (MWESB), and requires the successful contractor to comply with EWEB's sustainability and safety policies. The contract will be awarded to the most responsive and responsible proposer.
