About this file

This document contains a questions and answers worksheet for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) Home Price Indices (HPI) Data solicitation. The solicitation seeks to procure home price index data, including a price series on distressed properties such as short sales and real-estate owned sales. One question clarified that a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template is not required since no software or user interface is provided, but all delivered documents must meet Section 508 accessibility standards. Another question asked for more detail on the requested price series for distressed properties, to which the government replied it refers to an index computed from non-arm's length transactions involving lender-owned or short sale properties.

#PAGE #SECTIONINDUSTRY'S QUESTIONS/COMMENTSGOVERNMENT'S ANSWERS
1For the VPAT report request, although the Home Price Index (HPI) is model derived/generated, the HPI solution is delivered as data only. The HPI solution does not have a user interface. The HPI solution is standardly delivered as a flat data file via an SFTP site. Based on the foregoing, our understanding is that VPAT and Section 508/WCAG accessibility standards aren’t applicable. Please confirm whether this is a correct/appropriate interpretation. If there is no software provided, or web or user interface, then a VPAT is not required. However, all documents delivered shall be in electronic format and meet applicable IT Accessibility requirements of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended.
264.1 Data Technical RequirementsPlease provide more detail on what information is requested for “Price Series on Distressed Properties.”Price series on distressed properties refers to a home price index computed from non-arm's length transactions such as lender-owned properties (REO) sales or short-sales.
