About this file
This is a printing services bid request issued by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management & Budget for the production of 2030 moped decals in two versions: regular and dealer. The total order comprises 30,200 decals, consisting of 30,000 regular decals numbered G000R through H999W and 200 dealer decals numbered D000R through D199R. Each decal measures 1.5 inches by 6 inches and features orange vinyl with black sequential numbering in ANNNA format, with the dealer version designated by a "D" prefix. The decals require rounded radius corners, PDF proof approval prior to production, and specific packaging requirements including individual sheets wrapped in packages of 25, with cartons labeled with quantity, package count, sequential number ranges, and the DPO number.
The materials specifications require 3.5 mil flexible vinyl with thermal transfer printing capability, topped with 1 mil clear over-laminating polyester and permanent adhesive, backed by 78-pound bleached kraft release liner measuring 1.75 inches by 6.5 inches. Vendors must submit detailed quote letters with their bids; failure to do so results in automatic disqualification. Award will be determined based on best price and value to the state rather than lowest bid alone, with consideration given to past quality performance and ability to meet specifications. Only prequalified vendors are eligible to bid on this opportunity.
