About this file

This is a Price Schedule form for Solicitation 2027-338 issued by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources for Aitkin County Forest Stand Improvement services. The project involves wildlife tree release services using mechanical cutting on approximately 245.10 acres across 10 sites in Aitkin County, Minnesota. The work includes removing competing vegetation from around desirable tree species, specifically white spruce, balsam fir, white pine, and red pine, to increase tree resource availability for wildlife on state-managed forest lands and Wildlife Management Areas. Prospective contractors must provide a unit price per acre for each of the 10 sites within Bid Group 1, with site acreages ranging from 10.4 to 50.6 acres. A site visit is available by contacting Project Supervisor Derek Frost at 218-429-3055. All responses must be submitted electronically through the Swift Portal, with failure to respond to the latest event version resulting in bid rejection.

Contractors must submit unit prices that include all costs associated with labor, equipment, materials, herbicides, permits, licenses, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary for project completion. The award will be made to the lowest responsible vendor meeting all specifications and terms and conditions, with the State reserving the right to award items separately, by grouping, or by total as deemed most advantageous. Price schedules must be submitted in Microsoft Excel 97-2003 (.xls) or Excel 2010 (.xlsx) format, with alternative compatible formats including .xlsm, .xlt, .xltm, and .xlw; submissions in other formats may be rejected. Contractor assistance with registration and event response completion is available through the Contractor Assistance Help Desk at 651-201-8100, Option 1. Direct Pay Permit 1114 does not apply to this project.
