About this file
This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) document issued by the City of Greenville Parks and Recreation Department for annual cemetery mowing and grounds maintenance services at two locations: East Mount Cemetery located at 1600 Marshall Street and Forest Park Cemetery located at 5605 Business Highway 69 South, both in Greenville, Texas. The scope of work encompasses regular mowing, grounds maintenance, and upkeep of both cemetery properties throughout the contract period. Sealed bids were solicited with specific submission requirements and deadlines established for interested contractors. The contract term is annual, with the potential for renewal options to be exercised at the City's discretion. Site conditions and detailed service requirements are specified within the bid documents to ensure bidders have adequate information for preparing competitive proposals.
Pricing terms require bidders to submit sealed bids with itemized costs for all mowing and grounds maintenance services. The procurement appears to follow standard municipal bidding procedures without specific set-asides noted in the available documentation. Funding for these services is sourced from the City of Greenville Parks and Recreation Department budget. Contractors are expected to provide comprehensive cemetery maintenance services including regular mowing schedules, debris removal, and landscape upkeep to maintain both properties in acceptable condition throughout the contract year. The rebid designation indicates this was a reissued solicitation, suggesting the original bid process may have been cancelled or required modification.
