2026_BearRegs_mailing list.xls

This is a Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) mailing list for the distribution of 2026 Bear Hunting Regulations summaries. The document outlines the distribution of 13,060 total books organized into 653 bundles of 20 books each to be sent to state DNR field offices, customer service centers, wildlife areas, state game areas, and retail sporting goods retailers throughout Michigan. The mailing list identifies specific recipient locations across the state, including 40 DNR facilities (field offices, customer service centers, and wildlife areas) and approximately 300 retail locations such as Cabela's, Walmart, Dunhams Sports, Meijer, and independent sporting goods and hardware stores. Each location is assigned a specific bundle quantity, ranging from 1 to 20 bundles, based on its geographic location and anticipated distribution needs.

The document serves as an administrative distribution guide for regulated hunting publication materials and contains no pricing information, set-asides, funding sources, or contract terms. This mailing list represents a routine government communications function to disseminate hunting regulations to both official state facilities and commercial retail partners that serve hunters and outdoor enthusiasts across Michigan. The distribution strategy reflects a comprehensive geographic reach, with particular concentration in the Upper Peninsula and northern Lower Peninsula regions where bear hunting activity is more prevalent.
