About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details the Library of Congress National Audiovisual Conservation Center's (NAVCC) requirement for annual service and maintenance of its Lasergraphics 5K+ Scan Station scanning system. The contract will provide comprehensive support for the film scanner, which is critical for digitizing motion picture films, including unlimited technical support, priority response within two hours, factory-trained technician support, and factory-certified replacement parts.
The contract is structured for an initial one-year base period with four potential one-year optional extensions, to be exercised at the Library's discretion. The solicitation (2025-LGR-0089) is a sole-source contract intended to be awarded to Grass Valley USA, LLC, specifically to maintain the scanning system installed in August 2015 at the NAVCC Film Preservation Laboratory. The system is essential for the Library's mission of preserving and providing access to audiovisual collections, converting motion picture films into digital files for preservation and public access purposes.
