The file is a demographic dataset titled "2025_Vision_RFP_Census_Data.xlsx" related to a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Vision Services by the County of Orange, California. The RFP seeks to select a contractor to administer vision services for a three-year contract with two optional one-year renewal terms. The dataset provides detailed demographic information about potential service recipients, including age, gender, home state, zip code, and coverage tier, which appears to be supporting data for evaluating the proposal.

The dataset contains 1,500+ records primarily from California, with one record from Utah and Texas, and predominantly covers individuals between ages 24-85. The coverage tiers include "You Only," "You + 1 Dependent," and "You + 2 or More Dependents," with some individuals reporting no coverage. The zip codes are concentrated in Southern California, suggesting the vision services contract is focused on Orange County and surrounding areas. While the dataset does not directly reveal pricing, it provides a comprehensive view of the potential service population's demographic composition, which would be crucial for vendors preparing their proposals for the vision services contract.
