2025-UWWTW-00947-RFP for Warhawk Alley Pinsetters, Software and Returns

1) Does the university have a plan on what you'll be doing with the old Pinspotter equipment and ball returns?

Per RFP (Section 3.5 Project Management and Support), UW Whitewater will handle the removal of any necessary hardware and parts. The contractor will be responsible for the rest of the removal and disposal of the old pinspotters and returns.

2) This section says "Uw Whitewater will handle the removal of any necessary hardware and parts. The contractor will be responsible for the rest of the removal of the old Pinspotters and returns. We need alot more detail on what you will be removing as "hardware and parts"? Is this just all the spare parts that are back in the pits behind the machines? Please be as detailed as possible.

UW Whitewater will remove the following components from the existing pinspotter equipment. Vendor will be responsible for removing all remaining materials from site and disposing of them.

3) I'm not finding anything that says whether we need to quote our labor with prevailing wage. Is this necessary?

Yes, prevailing wage is generally required for official bids in Wisconsin if the project involves public works or is funded by state or local government

4) These say the software must include at least 5 exciter graphics and in 3.6.10 says "must have a minimum of 3 different environments in addition to a Classic Bowling environment- can this include games or does this strictly mean for environments (graphical themes)?

Strictly graphical themes.

5) 4th bullet point - does EBSMS stabnd for electronic bowling scoring and management syste?

Yes, EBSMS stands for Electronic Bowling Score Management System

6) The 2nd Bullet point says provide replacement parts (2)motors,strings,belts etc. For 10 lanes, havung 2 of everything seems excessive and will just add dollars to the bid. we would suggest to submit just one Spare parts kit for all the components. we can spell out that this is what we are offering. will that work?

Yes, we understand that including (2) spare part kits will increase the price. Please include (2) repair kits. Itemize what is included in the spare part kits.
