About this file
This document is an amendment to a Request for Bid (RFB) issued by the University of Wisconsin-Madison for CAR SHARING ON UW-MADISON CAMPUS (ShopUW+ EVENT #2025-UWMSN-00739-RFB). The amendment specifies the method of bid, which requires bidders to submit a net unit price and price by lot as designated. Bid comparison will be based on the all-in cost (except Membership/Application Cost) for the scenarios described in Lot 1 and Lot 2, and the University may award to one or multiple bidders. The University reserves the right to make awards to certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) or Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (DVB) firms submitting the lowest qualified bid, as long as it is not more than 5% higher than the apparent low bid.
The pricing terms require bidders to include the method of payment for gas at no additional charge to users, application fee, membership fee, young driver fee, secondary insurance, 24/7 roadside assistance, and any other cost pertaining to an hourly or daily car share. Bids that state the University shall guarantee orders of a specific quantity or dollar amount will be disqualified. The University is the sole determinant of its best interests.
