About this file

This document is an amendment to a Request for Bid (RFB) issued by the University of Wisconsin-Madison for TV Streaming Services (RFB #2025-UWMSN-00645-RFP). The amendment provides answers to questions submitted by potential bidders, including details on the service requirements, authentication, and technical specifications. The University is seeking proposals for 1,150 IPTV service subscribers, with the service to be delivered to common area TVs as well as devices used by staff and students. The service will be integrated with the University's existing Ethernet network. Responses are due on September 9, 2024 at 2 PM CT, with no extensions granted.

Regarding pricing, the RFB specifies a per-student pricing model, though the University is open to alternative cost structures. The service will be for the University's use only and will not be extended to all students in campus dorms. The University does not anticipate utilizing an existing state contract and will instead enter into a new service agreement.
