About this file

This is Addendum #1 to a landscaping services solicitation issued by the Clayton County Water Authority (CCWA) for its headquarters facility located at 1600 Battle Creek Road in Morrow, Georgia. The addendum modifies the original 2025-GS-14 Landscaping Services Annual Contract by revising the bid opening date from July 11, 2025 to July 10, 2025 at 3:30 p.m., adding clarifications to Division 4, Section 2 of the Scope of Work, and providing answers to fourteen bidder inquiries. Key services include weekly landscaping maintenance during growing seasons, installation of 1,584 bales of pine straw annually in a single application between mid-October and late November, maintenance of 1,577 square feet of seasonal flower beds (keeping them clean and weed-free year-round without contractor responsibility for flower installation), four annual cutting cycles in the pipe yard and adjacent retention pond area, and site maintenance for areas currently under construction that will transition to the contract upon completion. The contractor must acknowledge receipt of this addendum and include the signed acknowledgment in their proposal response.

The previous contract for this landscaping service was executed in 2019 with a total contractual amount of $48,000. Pricing for the current solicitation must be submitted electronically through the CCWA Bonfire E-Procurement Platform rather than on printed bid forms. The contractor is responsible for all labor costs associated with pine straw installation, weed elimination using CCWA-approved pesticides, and weekly site visits for maintenance or debris removal. No Small/Local Business Enterprise (SLBE) subcontracting requirements or benchmarks are mandated for the prime contractor. An area within the headquarters building parking lot entrance remains fenced due to ongoing construction and will be added to the contract scope upon project completion.
