About this file

This addendum modifies the Request for Bid (RFB) 2025-GS-13 for Motor Repair Services Annual Contract issued by the Clayton County Water Authority (CCWA) located in Morrow, Georgia. The contract encompasses testing, repair, maintenance, and reconditioning services for motors utilized in water and wastewater treatment processes and distribution systems. The original bid opening date of July 11, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. local time has been revised, with clarification provided that the bid opening will occur on July 10, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. Acknowledgment of receipt of this addendum must be signed and included in all bid responses to constitute a valid submission.

The addendum addresses seven critical clarifications requested by prospective bidders regarding contract specifications and requirements. Key determinations include: EASA certification requires accreditation meeting specific technical and quality standards rather than simple membership; a Performance and Payment Bond is not required despite language in the bid bond form; a $10,000 allowance covers unforeseen tariffs on parts and materials with proof of expense required for reimbursement; all gaskets required for sealing dust, gas, or liquids must be replaced; teardown and inspection services may be invoiced at applicable hourly labor rates when equipment replacement is determined; and all motor testing must comply with EASA standards and include quality control measures before return to CCWA. Additionally, CCWA is tax-exempt, requiring contractors to include taxes in unit prices for all materials provided under the contract.
