About this file
This document is a draft Request for Quotation (RFQ) for crushed stone and gravel supplies issued by Winnebago County, Wisconsin, specifically targeting the Highway Department's material procurement needs. The contract is designed as a blanket purchase agreement with an initial term that may be extended for another year by mutual consent. The Highway Department anticipates spending approximately $300,000 annually on these materials, with other county departments expecting to spend an additional $75,000. Orders will be placed on an as-needed basis, with no guaranteed minimum quantity, and materials can be picked up at the vendor's plant or delivered to one of five specified locations in Oshkosh, WI.
Pricing will be determined per ton, with vendors required to specify prices for material delivery and loading into county trucks. The county reserves the right to award the contract to multiple vendors to ensure coverage, potentially selecting the most cost-effective plant closest to each project site. Delivery requirements include plant availability from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Monday-Friday, with flexibility for extended summer hours. Vendors must deliver materials within five business days of order receipt and comply with local codes and permit requirements. Winnebago County will evaluate vendors based on equipment quality, material suitability, and potential facility inspections to determine the most appropriate suppliers.
