About this file

This is an Amendment #2 Questions and Answers document issued by the University of Wisconsin-Madison in response to inquiries regarding Request for Bid UWMSN-2024-00455-RFB for the purchase of a DC Power Supply. The solicitation is posted on the ShopUW+ platform at https://bids.sciquest.com/apps/Router/PublicEvent?CustomerOrg=UWisconsin, with all bid responses required to be submitted online through that portal. Inquiries regarding the solicitation should be directed to Jennifer Quinn at jenn.quinn@wisc.edu. Amendment #1 was previously issued to address questions from potential bidders.

The amendment clarifies electrical specifications for the DC Power Supply, establishing that the minimum required performance is 1612 Amps at 67 Volts, while the desired total specifications are 160 Volts and 3000 Amperes. This clarification addresses confusion regarding the differential between minimum operational requirements and desired enhanced capacity, providing potential bidders with precise technical parameters for submitting compliant bids.
