About this file
This document provides an outcome measures template for applicants to a Specialty Crop Multi-State Program federal grant opportunity. Applicants must select at least one outcome measure from seven options, and provide at least one associated indicator. For each selected indicator, applicants will describe data collection methods to demonstrate progress. The opportunity aims to fund projects addressing increasing consumption and access to specialty crops; improving food safety, pest and disease control, and environmental sustainability; expanding research and development; and developing new seed varieties. Eligible projects support the Specialty Crop Block Grant Program and are administered by the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service. The template requires quantitative and qualitative reporting on outcomes including knowledge gained, adoption of practices, jobs created, partnerships established, and acres managed using sustainable practices.
