About this file

The document is a Statement of Work for the Production of Voters' Pamphlets for Washington County, Oregon, detailing the specifications for printing voter informational materials for local and statewide elections. The scope of work involves producing voter pamphlets for four regularly scheduled elections per year, including Primary and General Elections in even-numbered years, with potential for special or unscheduled elections. The contractor will be responsible for photo scanning, typesetting, printing, and delivering various voter pamphlet formats, with quantities ranging from 100,000 to 350,000 copies. The pamphlets can be in multiple versions (tri-fold pamphlets or book formats) and may be standalone publications or inserted into the Secretary of State's voter pamphlet.

Pricing for the contract is to be comprehensive, including labor, materials, overhead, and associated costs, with a requirement that all printing be performed within the state of Oregon. The document provides three sample specifications for different election dates (May 2015, November 2015, and May 2018), outlining detailed requirements for paper type (newsprint), size (7.5" x 10.75"), page count (8-60 pages), and delivery methods. The contractor must complete the printing within 5-20 calendar days (average 16 days) and provide both physical and electronic versions of the pamphlets for approval by the Elections Supervisor. Any additional charges or specification changes must be pre-approved, and the contractor is responsible for resolving any printing errors at their own expense.
