About this file
This is Addendum 1 to Request for Bid #2018-30 issued by Portage County, Wisconsin for the resurfacing of the Tomorrow River State Trail located in eastern Portage County between Plover, WI and the Portage County/Waupaca County line. The addendum, dated August 13, 2018, provides material specifications and compaction requirements for the trail resurfacing project. The material is specified as packed, crushed aggregate limestone screenings with a final thickness of 4 inches, with 100 percent of the material passing a 3/8 inch screen and finely graded down to a No. 200 screen.
The addendum establishes compaction standards requiring that the finished trail surface be compacted to a density sufficient to prevent bicyclists from sinking into the surface or leaving ruts during use. These specifications supersede or clarify Section 9.2 and 9.2.1 of the original bid documents for RFB #2018-30. No pricing, set-asides, award dates, contract terms, or other financial terms are addressed in this addendum document.
