SOLICITATION QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS (Q&A)

USBP El Centro Multiprotocol Label Switching Circuits & Internet Services As of 04/09/2025
Q1: If the carrier is to provide all of the equipment, is there a firm requirement for MPLS?
A1: There is not a firm requirement for MPLS. Please see answer 2 (A2) below.
Q2: Would the Government allow alternative solutions that would include Layer 2 EPL connections between the sites? Or, ethernet WAN?
A2: Yes, alternative solutions to MPLS are acceptable as long as the connections are secure in a point-to-point arrangement.
Q3: Would the government extend the due date by three weeks to May 05, 2025?
A3: The Government will provide a 2-week quotation submission deadline extension to Monday, April 28, 2025 at 5:00 PM EDT. The deadline is hereby extended via amendment 1 to the solicitation.
