About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for a Houston Firing Range solicitation issued by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). The document contains two questions and responses: 1) Clarification that the sticky mat requirement has been removed from the Statement of Work, and 2) Definition of suitable storage area for training equipment and supplies, which CBP defines as a location that can protect equipment from weather elements and provide reasonable security against theft.

The related opportunity is a small business set-aside for firing range services near Houston, TX, requiring facility availability Monday through Friday from 0600-1600, excluding major holidays. The facility must be within 40 miles of the Seaport Office at 7141 Office City Drive. The contract will be a firm-fixed-price award with a base year (March 1, 2025 - February 28, 2026) plus four option years, extending through February 28, 2030. Proposals require a 3-page technical response, past performance with three references, and completion of a pricing sheet. Questions are due February 14, 2025, and quotes are due February 20, 2025.
