About this file

This is an Extension Amendment to a competitive solicitation contract between Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) and Aon Consulting Inc for the provision of health and benefits consulting services. The contract, originally executed on January 1, 2021, is extended under the same terms and conditions through June 30, 2026, with an effective date of January 1, 2026. The services encompass employee benefits and actuarial consulting support to assist HCPS in developing long-term strategy for competitive and affordable benefit plans for employees and retirees. No board approval is required for this extension amendment, and no specific response dates, bidder conferences, or site visits are documented in this extension routing form.

The compensation structure remains unchanged from the original agreement, with costs paid directly by the carrier rather than from district funds. The contract is classified under Commodities and Contractual Services and is funded through District Funds. The extension was endorsed by Tracy Schatzberg, General Manager of Employee Benefits Insurance, and processed by Aidalisse Rivera Anthony, Procurement Officer, on July 23-24, 2025. The amendment includes standard compliance requirements including E-Verify verification, debarment certification, Jessica Lunsford Act fingerprinting and screening for personnel with student access, human trafficking affidavit, and adherence to civil rights regulations and Florida law. Doug Nistetter, Regional Practice Leader for Aon Consulting Inc, executed the amendment on behalf of the contractor.
