The contract will establish a one-year supply agreement for bearing products, with items listed on an Excel price sheet that represents the most commonly purchased products; however, the contract will cover any additional bearing products ordered during the contract period. The estimated contract value is $10,000, though the actual value will be based on quantities ordered by state agencies during the contract term. No specific response deadline, due date, bidder's conference, or award date is indicated in this document.

Pricing must be submitted on a firm, net basis including all transportation and delivery charges prepaid by the contractor on an F.O.B. Destination basis, with prices remaining firm for the entire contract period and no fuel surcharges permitted. All items must be first-grade material of domestic origin, equal to or superior to original manufacturer specifications, and packaged according to commercial standards. Delivery is required within seven days of order receipt and may be considered in the award decision. The successful bidder must maintain full-time field service personnel, supply fresh stock only, and allow credit for obsolete inventory purchased during the contract period. The State of Maine requires acceptance of the Procurement Card as a payment method with no surcharges allowed regardless of payment method. Award will be made to the lowest qualified bidder based on best value consideration, and the state reserves the right to extend the contract beyond one year with mutual consent or cancel with thirty days' written notice.
