About this file
The document is a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Brookfield Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA) in Connecticut, soliciting bids for the replacement of three submersible sewage pumps at the Route 133 pump station. The RFP, designated as Solicitation Number 20031, is open to all vendors and seeks proposals for pumps that are compatible with existing Healy-Ruff control systems. The solicitation period runs from January 5, 2024, at 7:00 AM EST to February 9, 2024, at 11:00 AM EST, with the expectation that pumps will be ordered within 30 days of selection. Proposals must include comprehensive pricing covering the pumps, shipping, delivery fees, and account for a 30-day storage period, with delivery to the Brookfield WPCA field site at 120 Junction Road, Brookfield, CT.
The RFP does not specify a predetermined budget or estimated total contract value, and payment terms remain unspecified. The Brookfield WPCA, a tax-exempt municipality, will provide the selected vendor with a tax-exempt certificate. Vendors are required to submit proposals that include a project delivery timeline and demonstrate full compliance with the technical specifications outlined in the multiple addenda accompanying the RFP. Interested parties are encouraged to contact Kristi McPadden at 203-775-7319 or kristi@brookfieldwpca.org for any questions. The procurement emphasizes the critical need for pumps that can seamlessly integrate with the existing Healy-Ruff control systems at the Route 133 pump station.
