About this file
This amendment document is issued by the University of Wisconsin-Madison Purchasing Services for Request for Bid (RFB) 20-0049 regarding a sign package for the University of Wisconsin Press. Amendment #1 addresses questions submitted by bidders and clarifies that all other terms and conditions from the original bid remain unchanged unless modified by this amendment. The amendment confirms that installation is required as part of the deliverable, with a preferred installation date of January 10, 2020, though this is not a firm requirement. Bidders unable to meet the preferred date must indicate their earliest feasible installation date in their bid response. The procurement does not impose Wisconsin state registration, licensing, or bonding requirements on bidders. Bid prices and terms are firm for sixty days from the date of bid opening, with award determinations and public bid abstract inspections occurring after award selection.
The amendment clarifies that a "Mount E (pin)" referenced in the itemized bid list refers to pin backing on signage, allowing the signs to be pinned to tackable surfaces. All deliveries are specified as FOB Destination and Installed, incorporating fabrication, shipping, and installation services within the scope. The bidder certification language requires attestation to non-collusion, fair competition, absence of conflicts of interest, and compliance with federal debarment requirements. No specific pricing terms, set-asides, incumbency information, or funding sources are detailed in this amendment document.
