The Dallas Streetcar system consists of four vehicles operating a 2.45-mile route from EBJ Union Station to the Bishop Arts District, with service hours from 5:30 a.m. to midnight and six stops. Brookville will provide specialized repair and technical support services including installation of major component parts (CC400 propulsion systems, Hex30 heat exchangers, pantographs, and HVAC units), installation of subcomponent parts (HBUs, MSRs, HSRs), system software installation and configuration, hardware troubleshooting, and network issue resolution. The contractor must attend a kick-off meeting with the DART Project Manager and designated DART personnel, with additional meetings occurring as needed via electronic video conference. Final deliverables are due no later than thirty calendar days after issuance of the Contract Notice-to-Proceed (NTP).

All contractor and subcontractor personnel must complete the DART Light Rail Worker Protection Program (LRWPP) training coordinated through Vivian Chaney (Vchaney@dart.org) prior to beginning any work activities or site visits, and specific dates and times must be provided for any entry within fifteen feet of the tracks. DART will provide a designated location for Brookville to maintain its toolbox or storage container. Payment terms are Net 30, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org containing purchase order number, item number, description, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. 1.0 General Information

This Statement of Work (SOW) describes the minimum requirements for Brookville Equipment Corporation to provide on-site repair and technical support services for the Dallas Streetcar Fleet.

A. Introduction Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) operates the Dallas Streetcar system for the city of Dallas. The system consists of a 2.45-mile route from EBJ Union Station in downtown to the Bishop Arts District. The system consists of four vehicles purchased from Brookville Equipment Corporation (BEC). The alignment features six (6) stops in between, and service being offered from 5:30 am to midnight.

B. Background Over the past few years, the Dallas Streetcar fleet has faced ongoing challenges in maintaining vehicle availability. The majority of these issues stem from failures in major systems and their subcomponents, including the CC400 propulsion system (Compact Converter), Hex30 heat exchanger, pantographs, and HVAC units. More recently, an increase in Brake Control Unit (BCU) failures has further impacted mainline service operations. To address these concerns, DART is seeking to engage Brookville to provide specialized repair services for the Dallas Streetcar vehicles.

C. Scope of Work DART is seeking the services of an engineering team, known as Brookville, to provide on-site repair and technical support services when needed, and support with the following:

1. Installation of major component parts (CC400, Hex30, etc.).

2. Installation of subcomponent parts (HBU’s, MSR’s, HSR’s, etc.).

3. System software installation and configuration.

4. Hardware troubleshooting.

5. Network issues.
