About this file

This is a Single Source Advertisement from the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB) for Phonak and Roger hearing aid parts and repair services for fiscal year 2025-2026. The procurement is for hearing aid parts and repair, with an estimated not-to-exceed amount of $19,999.99. This is not a competitive solicitation but a notice of intended single source contract under Florida Statutes.

The intended source is Sonova USA, Inc. in Aurora, IL, which is justified as the sole US wholesaler for Roger products and the only entity equipped to provide ongoing service and maintenance for educational customers. Sonova USA is the national service center for Phonak Roger hearing aid equipment and accessories, with the unique ability to maintain strict compliance guidelines using original Phonak replacement parts. The procurement emphasizes that using any other service provider would invalidate product warranties, and Phonak sells Roger products directly to educational programs with restrictions on resale.
