About this file

This document is a Short-List Arrangement from Boulder County Procurement located at 1325 Pearl Street in Boulder, Colorado, which outlines a solicitation for qualifications to create a vendor short list for county projects. The solicitation does not guarantee work but establishes a selection process for vendors based on project size and needs. For projects less than $10,000, the County may assign work to any vendor on the shortlist based on project requirements. For projects $10,000 and greater, the County will reach out to all contracted vendors, request quotes with a specific deadline, and then select a vendor based on the timely submitted quotes.

The short-list arrangement is designed to provide flexibility in vendor selection while maintaining a competitive process. Vendors will be selected on a project-by-project basis, with the specific contractual terms detailed in Paragraph 2 of the contract template. The document emphasizes that being on the short list does not ensure consistent work, but rather creates a pool of qualified vendors from which the County can draw when specific project needs arise.

Short-List Arrangement

This solicitation for qualifications seeks to create a “short list” of vendors under contract with the County; however, it does not guarantee work.

Vendors will be selected on a project-by-project basis. For projects less than $10,000, the County may assign work to any vendor on the shortlist based on project needs. For projects $10,000 and greater, the County will reach out to all vendors under contract on the short list and provide a deadline for vendors to provide a quote. The County will select a vendor based on the quotes timely provided.

Paragraph 2 of the contract template contains the specific language that contractor will agree to with respect to this “Short list” arrangement.
