Summary of RFQ #25028 - Sale of iPad Devices
This is a Request for Quotes (RFQ) issued by Rochester Public Schools (RPS), Independent School District No. 535, located in Minnesota, for the sale of surplus Apple iPad 7th Generation devices. RPS is offering approximately 1,300 decommissioned iPad units that were previously used in district educational programs. The devices are Apple iPad 7th Generation models (A2197, MW742LL) in Space Gray with 32GB storage and WiFi connectivity. All devices will be factory reset and removed from RPS's management system prior to pickup. The devices have been maintained in protective STM cases, though 10-20% lack cases, and are expected to show a range of wear conditions with no known broken or cracked screens. Quotes must be submitted via the Euna Procurement platform by 2:00 PM on Friday, April 10, 2026. Vendors may not withdraw their proposals for 60 days following the quote opening date. Pickup must occur within 60 days of award notification and only after payment is received. Award determination will be made by the Director of Technology following evaluation of vendor qualifications.
Quotes must be submitted on a lump sum basis with a single guaranteed price for all equipment as a complete lot. Vendors must have a minimum of five years of experience purchasing used technology items and must provide references from other school districts or public entities. Qualified vendors are responsible for all packing labor, materials, and shipping costs to remove equipment from RPS's Technology Support Services Center located at 3018 40th Ave NW, Rochester, Minnesota 55901. Payment must be received by RPS as a single check on or before the pickup date; failure to remit payment results in forfeiture of award and potential reassignment to the next highest vendor. Vendors must provide a data destruction guarantee with a certificate of data wipe compliance, obtain a Certificate of Insurance, and complete both the Vendor Qualification Form and Non-Collusion Affidavit. Vendors may submit separate pricing with and without chargers and cables. All vendors must acknowledge compliance with RPS terms and conditions available at https://www.rochesterschools.org/page/legal-ads.
