About this file
This document outlines the REPSHIP (Report of Shipment) data requirements for individual shipments of hazardous material (HAZMAT) and inert component parts between locations in the Continental United States (CONUS) and overseas. The key details include:
The REPSHIP must provide information such as the shipment date, estimated time of arrival, required delivery date, carrier, bill of lading number, air release number or export traffic release number, shipment name, container details, security risk category, net explosive weight, hazard classification, and Department of Defense Identification Code. If a conveyance contains more than one shipment, the data elements must be repeated for each shipment. A separate REPSHIP is required for each mode of shipment to the port of embarkation.
